What Not to Automate
- The actual client work: Your expertise is what clients pay for. AI assists; it doesn't replace.
- Client relationship management: Personalized check-ins, empathy during project difficulties, celebrating their wins — these require human presence.
- Creative direction and strategy: AI executes on well-defined briefs; it doesn't replace the strategic judgment to create the brief.
Getting Started
Don't adopt all tools at once. Start with the problem that costs you the most time:
1. If you lose 5+ hours/week to admin → start with invoicing/accounting automation
2. If finding clients is the bottleneck → start with inbox scanning (Twin-Gig) and LinkedIn AI
3. If proposals take too long → build your AI-assisted proposal workflow
