What is résumé tailoring?
Résumé tailoring is rewriting your CV for one specific job posting — reordering sections so the most relevant experience comes first and using the posting's own vocabulary — without changing any underlying fact about your history.
Tailoring works because relevance is judged in seconds and against one specific role. The same career can be presented as an infrastructure background or a platform-reliability background, and which framing is correct depends entirely on the posting you are answering.
